New Year, New Client Services Staff
CPS recently welcomed five new employees.
Rosemary (Ro) Benoit, Sr. HR Business Partner
The Middletown, CT, office has welcomed Ro as a Senior HR Business partner, where she consults with clients on HR issues. Previously, she held various HR generalist and recruitment positions in hospitals and at The Travelers as well as at smaller companies. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Providence College and a MA in HR from Rensselaer at Hartford.
Tracy Casasanta, Client Service Representative
Tracy has joined CPS’ Auburn, MA, office as a Client Service Representative, bringing years of customer service experience with Paychex to her new role. At CPS, she ensures the accurate and timely production of client payrolls, answers questions, and addresses any challenges businesses have. Tracy holds a Certificate of Travel and Tourism from Southeastern Academy in Kissimmee, FL.
Karen Cataldo, Senior HR Business Partner
The Cape Cod office of CPS has welcomed Karen as a Senior HR Business Partner with Complete HR Solutions. In this role, she provides strategic and actionable HR advice to clients on a wide range of employee matters. Previously, she was Vice President of HR for a manufacturing company and an HR consultant for a payroll company. Karen has a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State College.
Samma Kenney, Client Relations Specialist
Samma is now a Client Relations Specialist with CPS’ Springfield, MA, office. In this role, she assists clients with payroll processing and related issues. Before joining CPS, she was an Assistant Branch Manager at Citizen’s Bank and a Rewrite Service Supervisor with Liberty Mutual Insurance. Samma has an associate’s degree in liberal arts from Holyoke Community College.
Diana Lane, Senior HR Business Partner
Diana is working out of CPS’ Attleboro office as a Senior HR Business Partner. In this position, she collaborates with clients to establish best practices for their business and maintain HR compliance. Most recently, she was a Senior HR Advisory with HR Knowledge, and previously held HR positions in several other organizations. Diana earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and a certificate for completing mediation training with MWI. She is also a Notary Public and Justice of the Peace for the state of Massachusetts.
CPS Employees Give Back to their Communities
We’re proud of the impact our employees have at work and in their communities. This month, we’d like to recognize Tracy Hebda, Finance and Retirement Integration Supervisor, who was named Secretary of the Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee, and Business Solutions Consultant Chris Gallivan, who recently earned the Chamber Ambassador of the Year award for 2019 from the Chamber of Greater Easthampton and will be honored January 30 at the Chamber’s “Celebrate Success” event. We’d also like to congratulate the CPS team for being honored as the Most Supportive Organization by the New Hampshire Society of CPAs at its annual awards luncheon.
New 2020 Link for MA Training Grants
If you’re a MA small business thinking about staff development this year, don’t forget that CPS offers multiple approved courses through the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Express Program. Under the program, employers with fewer than 100 employees can apply for an Express Grant to receive a 50% reimbursement to offset the cost of training. Our approved courses include:
